LGBT+ Education

LGBT+ πŸ‘πŸ» education πŸ‘πŸ» should πŸ‘πŸ» not πŸ‘πŸ»be πŸ‘πŸ» up πŸ‘πŸ» for πŸ‘πŸ» debate

“It is right that parents should be able to choose when their children become exposed to that information.”

Exposed to the information that LGBT+ people exist?

Thank u, next.

“Morally we don’t accept homosexuality as a valid sexual relationship to have. It’s not about being homophobic.”

That, sir, is the very definition of homophobic.

Thank u, next.

“LGBT lessons in schools will confuse children.”

It’s a school. It’s a lesson. Where kids learn. Maybe if you paid more attention in school you’d understand the concept of irony. Maths can be confusing too, we don’t ban that.

Thank u, next.

“Sexualising primary kids is repulsive.”

LGBT+ education is not about sex. It’s about educating young people on the different types of families out there so that in years to come queer people will...ya know...stop killing themselves out of deeply rooted shame brought on by the judgement of others.

Thank u, very much next.
